Brick Lane Brasserie, with its tagline ‘Authentic Indian Cuisine’, opened in 2000. This site was once home to Brick Lane's Modern Saree Centre store. 

The original five-strong partnership sold the lease more than a decade ago and the restaurant is now run by two Bangladeshi brothers. Brick Lane Brasserie is one of the smaller restaurants on the street. The restaurant’s focus is very much on a traditional Anglo-Bangla menu. It is open from midday to midnight seven days a week.
