Shaad Grill

Brick Lane

Located on the site of the famous Frying Pan pub, Shaad Grill & Bangladeshi Restaurant opened in 2014.

It succeeded Sheraz Balti Cuisine, another Bangladeshi-owned restaurant which was established in 1991 after the closure of the Frying Pan.

Shaad closed in 2018 because of the decline in customers at the southern end of Brick Lane. Although the ground floor restaurant space remains vacant, the upper floors are home to the Brick Lane Hotel.
